Hailing from the tiny snow battered town of Savannah, New York Josiah Waterman (Sappy Cy) produced his first recordings with a rock band usb mic into an old windows desktop computer at age 12. Working tons of projects with good friend Samuel Proia of (Cooled Jets) thru his teens and early 20's. In university he began street performing as a livelihood in Binghamton, New York. This Fall Sappy Cy did a street performing tour hitting several cities on the east coast Richmond, VA. Charolett, NC. Charleston SC. Years of developing chops on the street gives Sappy Cy's Folk/Indie Rock style a refreshing twist. His playful banter and lighthearted antics are sure to be a memorable performance. Josiah and his brother Heaths band (The Cosmic Groan) has opened for national acts such as Ryan Montbleau, and Adam Ate The Apple.
